To help you in your search, you may choose to filter the results that will be listed by specifying as many of the following options that are important to your decision for care.
All possible listings will be shown if you do not indicate differently below. This listing includes includes all current In Home Care and Home Health agency members of Oregon Health Care Association (see definitions of care below).
Definitions of Care:
- In-Home Care Agencies - are licensed agencies that provide personal care services that are necessary to assist individuals in meeting their activities of daily living needs (personal functional activities like eating/nutrition, dressing, personal hygiene - including bathing and showering, brushing teeth, combing hair, etc., transferring - such as getting in & out of bed or a chair, using a toilet and mobility) and may also include assistance with instrumental activities of daily living such as preparing meals, managing money, shopping for groceries or personal items, performing light or heavy housework, and using a telephone, but does not include curative or rehabilitative services.
- Home Health Care Agencies - are licensed agencies that provide coordinated home health services on a home visiting basis. Such services include skilled nursing and at least one of the following other services: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social services, home health aide, or other therapeutic services. Home Health Agencies must by supervised by a physician, nurse practitioner or registered nurse of all services provided by the agency.
