What is the OHCA Annual Convention & Trade Show?

Answer: The OHCA Annual Convention & Trade Show is an Event for Long-Term Care Professionals & businesses that work with Long-Term Care Communities. The Convention includes educational offerings, trade show opportunities, an Awards Ceremony, a Fun Night dinner event and opportunities to network. This is an amazing and fun event for all who attend!

Where is the OHCA Annual Convention being held?

Answer: The Event is being held at the Red Lion on the River (formerly known at the DoubleTree Jantzen Beach) located at 909 North Hayden Island Drive, Portland, OR 97217. The Red Lion on the River is located directly off I-5 (Exit #308) in Jantzen Beach near the Interstate Bridge.

Who is the education at the Convention geared for?

Answer: The educational sessions at the Annual Convention & Trade Show are applicable to Nursing facilities, Assisted Living/Residential Care, Senior Retirement Housing, and In Home Care agencies. There will be topics which are appropriate for Administrators, Owners, Health Service Directors, Nurses, Regional Directors, Resident Care Managers, Social Service Directors, Life Enrichment professionals and many more!

What does it cost to attend the Annual Convention?

Answer: The cost for attendees depends upon how many days of the event they wish to attend & when registration is processed. There are early bird registration discounts available. Click on the Attendee Info. button at the bottom of this page for more pricing information.

What does it cost to exhibit at the Annual Convention?

Answer: If registering A La Carte for a booth at Convention (meaning you are not signing up for a sponsorship package) pricing is based on membership status and choice of booth space. Booths are ranked and valued according to their location in the trade show, so there are 4 different booth types to choose from. Click on the Exhibitor Info. button at the bottom of this page for more info.

I’m coming from out of town. Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer: OHCA sets-up discounted room rates at the Red Lion on the River. Make sure to mention you are with OHCA to receive the discounted rate. See more about the Red Lion on the River by clicking on the Hotel/Venue button at the bottom of this page.
