Opportunity to ATTEND the Spring
Expo
A new
opportunity was introduced in recent years, and I wanted to
share it with you in case you didn’t know. We had received
feedback in the past that there should be a registration option
for businesses who can’t exhibit (in the cases where we sell
out), or where exhibiting isn’t a good fit for the business.
With that request in mind, and also with consideration for the
businesses who have paid to exhibit in order to participate, we
came up with a solution – a special registration option for
business partner attendance. In fairness to the exhibitors, the
rate is the same as the lowest price booth and allows up to two
representatives from that business to attend the full
conference. This is an opportunity that is offered exclusively
to business members of OHCA. If you are interested in taking
advantage of this option,
registration must be submitted by Thursday, March
5th.

OHCA's 2009 Buyer's Guide &
Directory – Deadlines Approaching
OHCA is
currently finalizing information for the printing of our 2009
Buyers Guide & Directory and we want to make sure all of our
members' information is as accurate as possible. Also, there are
still opportunities to advertise in this new issue. Information
and details are outlined below:

Member Information Changes Due (March
16) - All changes must be submitted to OHCA by
March 16th in order to be published in the new issue,
remember that this is also what is posted online for
consumers to view. Based on member feedback we have been
able to increase the character count for your business
descriptions – so you now have up to 250 characters for that
information! We greatly appreciate if you can please
take a moment to go online to
www.ohcaonline.com, log-in, and update your account to
make sure we have the most current information and contacts
on record to be printed in the 2009 Buyer's Guide &
Directory.
If you cannot go online, or if you have problems, please do
not hesitate to contact Carol Grebin at

call (503)726-5222. She can double check what we have in the
database for you and make any needed updates.

Advertising Deadline (March 20)
- If you have not already contacted LLM Publications about
the options to advertise in OHCA’s Buyer’s Guide & Directory
and are interested in learning more, please contact Joe at
(503) 445-2229. Premium, color, and black & white
opportunities are still available - but are going fast. The
deadline for reserving ad space is March 20.

Pre-Order Deadline (April 1)
- All members will be receiving a complimentary copy of the
guide once it is printed, and you can expect to receive that
in the mail this May. We are now accepting pre-orders for
anyone that would like to order additional copies of this
guide -

Convention Call For Presentation –
Due March 20
The Oregon Health Care Association invites you to
submit a seminar proposal for our 2009 Annual Convention & Trade
Show to be held September 21st - 22nd, 2009 at the Red Lion on
the River in Portland, OR. The educational program for the
conference is being designed to ensure that attendees leave each
session equipped with effective strategies to achieve
operational excellence in long-term & community-based care. For
more information or to submit your presentation proposal online

In Home Care Conference (April 21)
Sponsorships Available
OHCA is very excited to offer this first time
event that is focused on education for our In Home Care and Home
Health Agency members. With the new event also comes new
sponsorship opportunities that will be available to members of
OHCA as a way to gain extra exposure in front of this targeted
audience. OHCA invites you to be involved as a sponsor of OHCA’s
IHC Conference which is scheduled to take place on April 21,
2009 in Portland, OR. Sponsorship options include:

Register Now For OHCA’s Annual
Convention
I’ve been receiving a lot of calls lately about
when registration will become available for our Annual
Convention…so wanted to make sure everyone knows that it is
available NOW. Registration for all of our annual event
sponsorships became available last fall, and we are actually
already over 1/2 sold for the Convention. So, if you’re looking
to explore the opportunities available for your business to
market your products/services at this or other event in 2009 –
now is the time to get registered.
You can learn more about a la carte booth rates and special
event sponsorships on pgs. 6 & 7 in the 2009 Sponsorship Guide.
You’ll also see a list of extra event opportunities on pgs. 8 &
9. Remember that registration can be completed online at
www.ohcaonline.com and payment will be required in order to
complete the registration process (Visa, American Express,
Mastercard, or submit an electronic check payment). If you are
not able to pay online please contact me as soon as possible so
I can help to coordinate other options in advance of your
registration.
2 Spring Expo Booths Still
Available
Spring Expo is just under 2 weeks away, and at
this point we only have (2) four star booths still available. If
your business is interested in exhibiting please be sure to
complete your online registration as soon as possible at
www.ohcaonline.com. Booths will be sold on a first come, first
serve basis. Visit OHCA’s website to see schedule at a glance,
trade show map, exhibitor brochure, and other helpful
information as you plan your participation.
