Networking Opportunity,

Aging Well in Oregon – Arthritis Event
I invite you to join us for an afternoon focused on
Arthritis awareness including information on the Arthritis
Foundation and the services they offer, Arthritis treatments,
and the benefits of exercise.

Aging Well in Oregon is an educational program that OHCA in
collaboration with other local organizations have planned as a
way to promote networking and resource sharing among those that
work with and/or care for seniors. This April event is a great
opportunity for you to learn, as well as offers a chance to
network with providers and other professionals involved in the
care of seniors.

2008 Issue of the
Directory – Coming to Members in May!
OHCA is in the final stages of production of our 2008 issue of
the Directory & Buyer’s Guide. A complimentary copy is sent to
the primary contact for each membership. If you or others at
your business would like to
order additional copies of this new issue, you can submit an
order form to OHCA at any time. Orders processed before May 1
will be mailed out at the same time as the complimentary copies.
OHCA Is Promoting
& Seeking Webinar Opportunities
OHCA’s educational line-up now includes a new option - Webinars!
A webinar is an educational presentation or workshop that is
transmitted via the internet. Participants are able to view
educational content on their computers & hear a presentation via
conference call, from the comfort of their office. By offering
webinars OHCA is giving the opportunity for members to view a
presentation of 30-90 minutes in length without having to travel
any distance for the information. So far we have had great
success with this new format.
OHCA is seeking new & innovative webinar content that can be
shared with our members. If your company has educational content
you would like to share with the OHCA members via webinar, OHCA
would like to partner with you on this new opportunity. If you
would like to talk more about what types of education we’re
looking for, or to schedule to have your business provide a
webinar, I encourage you to contact Melodie King, Director of

Article Request – Due by the 15th of every month
One benefit of membership with OHCA is that you are able to
submit articles for our monthly Quality Pulse insert that goes
in the Heartbeat newsletter which is sent to all of our members.
I welcome you to submit articles with best practice,
professional tools or operations improvement focuses for
publication. The article should not be company specific, but at
the end of the article we can include a brief bio. and contact
information for you. Please send any articles to

reserves all selection and editing rights. Submission deadline
is the 15th of every month.
