Get Ready to Register for OHCA's 2010 Event Opportunities

OHCA is wrapping up our 2009 sponsorship year, and the first round of registration for OHCA's 2010 events begins today (see further below for list of registration timeframes based on the level you are planning to register for). 

Not sure what OHCA events have to offer, or if there's a good fit for your business? To help you make more business connections and maximize your marketing budget we have developed a guide to help you plan your sponsorship year with OHCA. Start planning now for the opportunities in 2010 – registering early will help you get your best choice of booths and other sponsorships!

If you're interested in learning more about exhibiting, or being involved with other types of event sponsorships with OHCA in 2010, I encourage you to review the 2010 Sponsorship Guide or feel free to contact me directly to find the best options to fit your marketing plan. 

Some new things I want to make sure your business is aware of for 2010 Registration:

  • *NEW* Payment Request Option: If your company's accounting policies require a payment request or you need to pay by check you are now able to get a head start on your payment process.  Simply click on the Payment Request Option (Vendors) link which you'll find at www.ohcaonline.com.  This will bring you to a page where you can choose your registration preferences, and once you complete it a payment request form will be emailed to you which you may submit to your accounting staff to start the process on your end.  Please note: this is not a confirmation of registration – if paying by check your registration will not be processed until this request and payment are received by OHCA.  If paying by credit card, log back in once your request has been approved and pay by credit card.

     

  • *NEW* In Home Care Conference Sponsorship Opportunities
    This event that was introduced by OHCA last year and after being such a success will be occurring again in 2010!  Review the opportunities available which are listed on pg. 7 of the 2010 Sponsorship Guide.

Tips For Successful 2010 Sponsorship Registration

Register Early For The Best Value

The earlier you register, the more options you'll have available to you as far as booth choices, sponsorship availability, being included in marketing materials, web exposure, etc.  The following timeline explains our tiered registration which should help you schedule the best time to open your door to marketing with OHCA based on the level you'd like to register for. If you plan to register for a sponsorship package, register by January 15, 2010 to get the most value! 

Registration Timelines

  • Platinum Package: Registration becomes available *October 5, 2009 Calendar IconMark Your Calendar

    • 2009 Platinum Sponsors can register October 1-4 to remain at that Sponsorship level for 2010.

  • Gold Package: Registration becomes available October 12, 2009 Calendar IconMark Your Calendar

  • Silver Package: Registration becomes available October 12, 2009 Calendar IconMark Your Calendar

  • A La Carte Sponsors: Registration becomes available November 2, 2009 Calendar IconMark Your Calendar

    • This registration opening applies to any business wishing to register for an individual booth/sponsorship and not through one of sponsorship package levels above

Get Your Log-in In Advance

To ensure you are set-up and ready to go when your registration time comes, be sure to have your registered user account set-up in advance at www.ohcaonline.com.

If someone at your company has already set-up a registered user account with OHCA, but you can't remember it simply click on Lost Username and have it sent to the email of the person who set it up (if the registered user email address needs to be updated, please call OHCA at (503) 726-5260 and one of the OHCA staff members will be able to assist you)

If your company doesn't have an OHCA registered User Account set up, Click on New User:

  • Select your company from the drop down menu

  • Put in the email address that you would like to have your new user name and password sent to (it will be sent instantly – be sure to check your junk folder in case it is filtered there)

  • If the zip code you enter does not match our records call OHCA at (503) 726-5260 to verify the information we have for your company.

Have Your Payment Information Ready

Payment information will be requested at the time of registration in order to confirm your choices.  Preparing in advance to pay online with a credit card can help you avoid last minute challenges.

You will not be able to submit your registration without payment, so if you have questions about OHCA's payment options please contact OHCA at (503) 726-5260 in advance of your registration so we may help you troubleshoot.

How to Register Online

This online registration process is currently optimized for Internet Explorer, you may experience trouble registering if you are trying to use a different browser.  Please call OHCA at (503) 726-5260 if you are for some reason not able to register online.

  1. To register online simply go to www.ohca.com and click on Online Event Registration under Events (or go directly to www.ohcaonline.com)

  2. Then click on Register Now (Vendors)

  3.  Enter your business' specific user name and password

  • If you do not remember your log-in information click on Lost Username/Password

  • If you have never registered online with OHCA click on New User to create a new registered user account.

  1. The Online Registration Process will walk you step-by-step:

  • Step 1: Select Registration Type

  • Step 2: Choose your Spring Expo exhibit space (or choose NO BOOTH if registering a la carte & you don't wish to exhibit at this event)

  • Step 3: Choose your Annual Convention exhibit space (or choose NO BOOTH if registering a la carte & you don't wish to exhibit at this event)

  • Step 4: Choose your Directory Ad location (this step is only included in Platinum & Gold Package registrations)

  • Step 5: Choose any Special/Extra Event Sponsorships (exclusive opportunities for members)

  • Step 6: Confirm & Purchase (your selections are not confirmed until you finish the payment step)

    • You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

Online Registration is a multi-step process. At the end of the registration and payment process you should instantly receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation please call OHCA at 503-726-5260.

Make The Best Booth Selections for 2010
When registering online be sure to move your mouse over the schematic around the booth you are looking to choose.  This allows you to see what other businesses may have already registered for a booth around you.  Just a quick scan can help you be sure you aren't choosing a booth by a competitor, or help you find a space next to a business that you may work closely with.  A virtual conference is maintained under the Events section of our website as well which can show you which businesses have already signed up.  This is not live, but is updated regularly.

The 2010 Sponsorship Guide was mailed out to all business partner members in August.  You can also view the sponsorship guide online at www.ohca.com under Marketing Options
