RSVP for Next Week’s Business Partner Committee Meeting

The next quarterly committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm.  Meeting will be held in OHCA’s Board Room – 11740 SW 68th Pkwy, Ste 250, Portland, OR 97223 (click here for directions)

All Sponsorship/Exhibit Registration Options Now Open

With the “a la carte” options becoming available this past Monday, November 3rd businesses now have all options for sponsorship at OHCA’s 2009 events available for registration online.

Trying to decide what’s the best option for you?  Learn more about the package benefits (PDF), or choose from any of the a la carte sponsorship opportunities if you’re looking to exhibit at just one of OHCA’s event or get involved in other event exposure opportunities:

Interested in Registering for 2009?

Registration can be completed online at www.ohcaonline.com and at least ½ payment will be required in order to complete the registration process (Visa, American Express, Mastercard, or submit an electronic check payment).

Online Registration Steps

Online registration is optimized for Internet Explorer – if you are using a different browser please call OHCA for alternate registration options.

  1. To register online simply go to www.ohca.com and click on Online Event Registration under Events (or go directly to www.ohcaonline.com)

  2. Then click on Register Now (Vendors)

  3. Enter your business’ specific user name and password

  • If you do not remember your log-in information click on Lost Username/Password

  • If you have never registered online with OHCA click on New User to Create a New PRIMARY User Account

  1. The Online Registration Process will walk you step-by-step:

  • Step 1: Select Registration Type (choose the type of package, or a la carte)

  • Step 2: Choose your Spring Expo booth (or choose NO BOOTH if registering a la carte & you don’t wish to exhibit at this event)

  • Step 3: Choose your Annual Convention exhibit space (or choose NO BOOTH if registering a la carte & you don’t wish to exhibit at this event)

  • Step 4: Directory Ad Placement choice (only included in Platinum & Gold package)

  • Step 5: Choose any Special/Extra Event Sponsorships

  • Step 6: Confirm & Purchase (your selections are not confirmed until you finish payment step)

Online Registration is a multi-step process. At the end of the registration and payment process you should instantly receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation please call OHCA at 503-726-5260.

Tips For Successful 2009 Sponsorship Registration

Register Early For The Best Value

The earlier you register, the more options you’ll have available to you as far as booth choices, sponsorship availability, being included in marketing materials, web exposure, etc.  The following timeline explains our tiered registration which should help you schedule the best time to open your door to marketing with OHCA based on the level you’d like to register for. If you plan to register for a sponsorship package, register by January 16, 2009 to get the most value! 

Get Your Log-in In Advance

To ensure you are set-up and ready to go when you’re registration time comes be sure to have your registered user account set-up in advance at www.ohcaonline.com.

If you don’t have an OHCA registered User Account set up, Click on New User:

  • Choose Create New Primary User

  • Select your company from the drop down menu

  • Put in the email address that you would like to have your new user name and password sent to (it will be sent instantly – be sure to check your junk folder in case it is filtered there)

  • If the zip code you enter does not match our records call OHCA to verify the information we have for your company.

If you have already set-up a registered user account with OHCA, but can’t remember it you can click on Lost Username and have it sent to you (if the registered user email address needs to be updated, please call us at 503-726-5260 and one of the OHCA staff members will be able to assist you).

Have Your Payment Information Ready

Payment information will be requested at the time of registration in order to confirm your choices.  Preparing in advance to pay online with a credit card or check* at the time you submit your registration choices can help you avoid last minute challenges.

You will not be able to submit your registration without payment, so if you have questions about OHCA’s payment options please contact OHCA at (503) 726-5260 in advance of your registration so we may help you troubleshoot.

*Online Check payments will ask for the following information: Bank Name, Bank Account Number, Routing Number, Name On Account, Bank Account Type, First Name, Last Name, Company, Address, City, State/Province, Zip/Postal Code, Phone.

Make The Best Booth Selections for 2009

When registering online be sure to move your mouse over the schematic around the booth you are looking to choose.  This allows you to see what other businesses may have already registered for a booth around you.  Just a quick scan can help you be sure you aren’t choosing a booth by a competitor, or help you find a space next to a business that you may work closely with.  A virtual conference is maintained under the Events section of our website as well which can show you which businesses have already signed up.  This is not live, but is updated regularly.
