How do I get myself and my staff registered?
To Register a Group
From the event page, click the “Register here” button and a pop-up will appear. Select “Register a Group”. Log in to the OHCA Member Portal. If you do not know your username or password, please contact OHCA at 503-726-5260 or email@example.com. Select the individuals from your organization that you would like to register and continue the registration process.
You may log in to your convention registration anytime to add or change your registrations. If you have questions or run into challenges, please contact OHCA.

Early Registration Packet Pick-up: November 9 at Pre-Function C in the Oregon Convention Center from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Oregon Convention Center offers directional screens throughout the building directing you to where the OHCA Annual Convention is being held.
The Oregon Convention Center is accessible by car, TriMet MAX light rail, bus, and Uber/Lyft. Parking is available at the Oregon Convention Center for a fee. There are also several privately operated parking garages and metered parking spaces within three blocks of the Oregon Convention Center. If you have mobility needs, please consider being dropped off at the Oregon Convention Center bus turnout located on NE Holladay St. near MLK Jr. Blvd. This will give you close access to the north end of the building, where the OHCA Annual Convention will be taking place.
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
Yes, all in-person event attendees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at this event.
Vaccine status will be verified during check-in. Attendees must bring their COVID-19 vaccine card, a photo of the card, or vaccine passport AND their driver’s license the day of the event to show during the registration check-in process. Individuals whose vaccination status cannot be verified will be asked to leave the event and may access the event OnDemand only.
Individuals with vaccine exceptions, both medical and religious, are able to attend the event OnDemand only.
What should I expect if I attend virtually?
We will NOT be live streaming the Convention in its entirety. We are offering a variety of OnDemand recordings as well as select sessions from Convention. Those recordings will be available starting November 11. Please note, the recording of the keynote speaker will not be available until approximately one week following the event.
What should I wear?
There is no official dress code for the OHCA Annual Convention, however, we encourage people to dress comfortably in business casual attire and comfortable walking shoes. Please dress in layers as the temperature in the meeting rooms can fluctuate.
When will I get my CEUs after the event?
Attendees can individually track their own continuing education units (CEUs) at the Annual Convention.
Through a program called Survey Magnet, attendees will be able to easily track CEUs earned, complete online evaluation forms, and print a transcript of sessions attended.
- Step 1: During each session you attend, RECORD the unique CEU code announced and displayed for that session. OHCA will provide templates to make recording and remembering your codes easy!
- Step 2: Through the event app or your computer, visit the Survey Magnet website (through a link OHCA provides), ENTER the CEU code and EVALUATE each session you attended.
- Step 3: Once you’ve completed the steps for each session you attend, DOWNLOAD AND PRINT your CEU form.
While we recommend you download the event mobile app to make tracking easier, you do not need to have access to the mobile app to use this program. It can easily be accessed on a computer, and OHCA will have a computer available that you can use onsite if needed. Your username and password to access Survey Magnet is the same as what you use to log in to the OHCA Member Portal.

What meals and activities are included with my registration?
Coffee is included in your registration and will be available both mornings of the event.
Lunch is included in your registration on November 10 and will be served in the Trade Show.
In addition to these provided options, there is a Portland Roasters coffee shop located inside the Oregon Convention Center that offers a variety of drinks and snacks for purchase. The Oregon Convention Center is also within walking distance of many coffee shops and restaurants.
A note about special dietary needs: OHCA and the Oregon Convention Center are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs. You are invited to inform OHCA of your special dietary needs through the online registration system, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 weeks prior to the event for planning purposes. At the event, please ask for a “special diet” ticket and display it on your place setting during meals. This will help the wait staff provide the appropriate meal for you.
Will There be an OHCA Awards Lunch?
We will be honoring our OHCA Awards recipients in a different and special way in lieu of the OHCA Awards Lunch. If you ordered an Awards Lunch ticket, you will be refunded within the next week. For sponsors/exhibitors, you sponsorship/exhibit registration will not be affected in any other way. Please contact email@example.com if you need to cancel your exhibit or sponsorship or update your booth representatives. We will be reaching out with further logistics information, including options to verify vaccination status, later this fall.
What if state survey arrives while I’m attending this event?
Each community with at least one staff or caregiver registered to attend the OHCA Annual Convention by October 17 will not be surveyed by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), during the Annual Convention date, November 10. Please note, this only applies to full surveys and initial revisits only and will not apply to complaint surveys with priority to immediately investigate.
During the registration process, please confirm that you are connected to your community’s organization account and not the corporate account so that we know which building you are with. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Is there an evening event?
Due to state and county recommendations for events, an OHCA sanctioned evening event, like Fun Night, has not been scheduled. We encourage attendees to take this opportunity to explore the amazing eateries and entertainment Portland has to offer. Electricity, AV and Other Services
Electricity, AV, booth cleaning and other services are being provided through the Oregon Convention Center. You can access this information through the Fern OneView website by clicking “Facility-Provided Services” under “tasks,” or by visiting the Oregon Convention Center website.
Each exhibit space is 10′ by 10′ and includes two chairs and one six-foot table. Order electricity by clicking here.

VIP Happy Hour
All sponsors as well as exhibitors with a premier (blue) or general (green) exhibit space are able to send one representative to our VIP happy hour. Please look for more information on this activity in future communications.
Due to guidance and restrictions, we will not be hosting a “fun night” activity. We will be looking at other opportunities to bring attendees and vendors together during the event.
