Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations from the Governor of Oregon, OHCA is preparing to deliver the content of this course to registrants virtually. As the class date approaches, OHCA will provide registrants with details for participating in this course virtually, including home study materials and additional online learning content.

The OHCA 40-hour Administrator Training Program offers a unique opportunity to learn about best practices from a variety of management companies, communities, and respected consultants. It focuses on understanding values-based program concepts and practical implementation of critical resident services. This training program is designed to balance information, resource materials, and interactive exercises. This course will prepare you to develop services and procedures that reflect community based care values and comply with licensing rules. You will discuss emerging issues that impact services and how to comply with regulatory intent. Management will gain insight necessary to guide corporate policy development and undertake local community oversight.

This program has been approved and is recognized by the State of Oregon Seniors & People with Disabilities to fulfill Administrator Requirements under OAR 411-054-0065(3)(a)(A).

Certificates of completion are awarded for successful completion of course and final assignment. Registration fee must be paid in full to receive certificate of completion.

Registration fee includes two comprehensive course resource manuals, example forms and checklists, and structured practice in assessment and service plans.
