In this webinar, the presenter will review current status and experiences of the ongoing infection control surveys. Due to COVID-19, DHS has not been conducting ALF/RCF relicensing surveys, only conducting infection control surveys.  It is still unknown the exact timeline when the department will begin conducting relicensing surveys. However, that does not preclude providers from being in compliance or “ready at anytime” for a survey.   In this webinar, the presenter will review current status and experiences of the ongoing infection control surveys. She will review how to proactively create a survey management program and tips for compliance. Strategies for becoming ready for the reinstatement  of the survey process.  Use the steps of the “compliance framework” to address common citations and to develop practice improvement  plans in your community.
