Caregiver

Murray Highland is a 24 bed Memory Care Community located in the heart of Beaverton. We are looking for experienced caregivers to care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and experienced in dementia care with excellent interpersonal skills. Our staff is very energetic, empowered, and like to work hard and have fun doing it.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with ambulation and mobility.
Assist residents with personal care and hygiene.
Help residents with physical therapy exercises
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills

Proven experience as a caregiver preferred.
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics
Physical endurance
High school diploma or equivalent
