Favorite Part of Her Job

The people! I am so grateful to advocate on behalf of, work with, and support our members and their residents each and every day. The LTC profession is my passion! I truly love coming to work every day to advance the shared mission of the Oregon LTC community: delivering quality care and quality of life to those we serve. What I look forward to each day are the endless opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and problem-solve with a wonderfully diverse, knowledgeable, and talented group of people and organizations, and a very special OHCA team! It is very rewarding to help members with individual issues, encourage and contribute to their professional development, and work on progressive policy and projects that enhance quality in our sector.

Favorite Oregon Restaurant

A current favorite of mine is Eem. My family and I LOVE to eat out and adventure to new eateries, near and far. Although we have been doing less dining out during the pandemic, we were so excited when Eem started a take-out service. Eem is an eclectic mix of Thai, American BBQ, NW fresh, Tiki cocktails that all shake-up with PDX hipster, foodie vibe. Amazing food and flavors!

Favorite Activity Outside of Work

My favorite activity is hiking with family and friends, especially anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, which offers an abundance of options and diverse landscapes and adventures. We’re so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country!
