OHCA Staff Spotlight: Rosie Ward

What is Rosie’s Role?

Rosie Ward is the senior vice president of strategy at the Oregon Health Care Association. She manages OHCA’s strategic planning, affiliate programs, events team, and communications, and marketing activities. She earned her master’s in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University and her bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Oklahoma.

Favorite Part of Her Job

“It’s very rewarding to be able to help members quickly get the information and resources they need or to connect them with individuals that can provide them what they need. We are constantly working to refine the way we provide information and resources to make them more relevant and accessible for members. Additionally, we have an amazing staff here at OHCA, and I love working with each of them!”

Favorite Oregon Restaurant

“My most frequented restaurant in Portland is a food truck that makes a delicious curry: BlueBird Thai. My favorite rarely frequented restaurant is the Red Hills Market in Dundee.”

Favorite Activity Outside of Work

“My favorite activity is spending time with my 1-year-old son. He is pure joy.”
