In this session, Gabi Sanchez of Ballard Spahr-Lane Powell, J.D., will discuss the current regulatory impacts of current and sometimes conflicting federal and state policy to help long term care providers stay in compliance as best as they can during this challenging time. In particular, the presenter will address state training requirements, employment law (particularly nondiscrimination and anti-harassment), and legal and compliance best practices for supporting staff and residents who may be concerns about being affected by federal executive orders (including those related to immigration matters). It is important to note that these impacts and rules are constantly changing. This webinar is intended to give providers some guidance based on the current policies and requirements at the time to help you avoid disruptions and maintain your ability to deliver quality care to residents and support to staff.
