Assisted Living and Residential Care Quality Measures (QM) Due January 31

Please note, OHCA is hosting a webinar on quality metrics and compliance on February 24. Learn more here.
OHCA reminds our assisted living and residential care members to make final preparations for reporting 2021 Quality Measures (QM) data.
Instructions 2021 QM Reporting can be found on the ODHS CBC Quality Measures website under Provider Resources.
- Instead of asking for numerical data for each metric, providers will need to report only whether they tracked each of the five required measures.
- All facilities will be required to respond either “yes” or “no” to a question about whether they tracked each measure in some way during 2021.
- Responses to these questions must still be entered by January 31, 2022 for reporting year 2021, 11:59 PST.
- Instructions have been revised for 2021 reporting. The modified reporting changes will be temporary, for 2020 and 2021 only, and 2022 will take the program back to the original data collection plan outlined by the Quality Measurement Council.
- Changes have been made to the Long-Term Care Facility Portal, to reflect the new reporting requirement. The Long-Term Care Facility Portal hosts the Quality Metrics Application (QMA), which is where all facilities are required to report their data.
