Jack Honey Assumes Permanent Position as Head of DHS APD SOQ

OHCA was pleased to receive word from Mike McCormick, Interim Director of Aging and People with Disabilities, that he has appointed Jack Honey as the permanent administrator of the DHS APD Safety Oversight and Quality (SOQ) team.
Jack assumed the interim role in July 2019. OHCA values Jack’s professional, collaborative, balanced approach to problem solving issues and looking at proactive strategies to improve the quality of long term care services in Oregon.
Jack served as the deputy administrator of SOQ prior to assuming the interim role, now permanent, role as administrator. He also worked for Multnomah County Aging Disabilities and Veterans Services as a program supervisor. Jack has additional work experience in aging services including nursing home administration, home services, case management and social services. He can be reached Jack.honey@ohadhs.state.or.us.
