OHCA Announces 2026 Cohort for the Long Term Care Leadership Program

February 3, 2026

Last week, the 2026 OHCA Long Term Care Leadership Academy Program officially launched with a two-day leadership training intensive. Participants from across the state gathered in Portland, Oregon and heard from long term care sector leaders on topics ranging from leadership, financial management, operational strategies, advocacy, and more.

Throughout the year, program participants will engage in follow-up group activities, with the goal of fostering peer relationships, enhancing leadership skills, and becoming more engaged with the Oregon long term care industry through deepening their understanding of stakeholder impacts, including in regulatory, public policy, and advocacy areas. Thanks to grant funds from the Oregon Department of Human Services, this year-long program comes at no cost to participants. You can read more about the Leadership Academy here.
