Oregon Care Partners Offers Medication Management Training for Care Teams

Understanding Medicines in Older Adults: Care Team Principles is a free medication management training from Oregon Care Partners that is designed to help care teams improve medication safety for older adults through improved planning, communication and documentation. In this training, you will gain a stronger understanding of age-related medication risks and adverse side effects, develop processes for regular medication reviews and documentation, learn useful communication strategies and how to provide person-centered care through a team approach. The class is led by an Oregon Care Partners instructor and a licensed pharmacist and offers 5.5 CEUs to qualified professionals. Register for training in Bend on June 12 or in Newport on June 19 and browse the statewide schedule below for additional training opportunities in June.
