Photo Highlights from the 2021 Annual Convention

November 16, 2021

On Wednesday, November 10, long term are professionals re-connected in person for Oregon’s largest long term care event of the year, the OHCA 2021 Annual Convention and Trade Show. With the theme “High Tides and Good Vibes,” this year’s Annual Convention celebrated resiliency and triumphs during an ongoing global pandemic.

This year’s event looked a little different than in past years. This year, we offered a one-day in-person event as well as recording OnDemand sessions for participants to view at their own convenience. Christopher Ridenhour kicked off the in-person event as our keynote presenter, followed by a recognition of all the OHCA Award recipients this year.

Attendees also participated in a wide variety of breakout sessions on topics relating to rules and regulation, quality, performance improvement, workforce, leadership, DEI, and more. During lunch, participants were able to connect with the many sponsors and exhibitors that helped make our educational events possible.

As a reminder, the OnDemand recordings are now available to registrants. If you have not yet registered for the Annual Convention, please do so by December 21. Registrants will be able to earn up to 11 CEUs through our OnDemand sessions from November 11 through December 31. Register here.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s OHCA Annual Convention, September 20-21, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
