Oregon Care Partners Offers Free Training in Hood River on April 16

Oregon Care Partners will bring a valuable training opportunity to Hood River on April 16 with their free class, Introduction to Trauma Informed Care. The class will be held at the Hood River Library from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm and offers 4.0 CEUs. Trauma is an often-overlooked variable in the lives of older adults. This class introduces the six principles of trauma informed care, discusses the importance of a trauma-informed approach to care for older adults, and additionally gives attention to the impact of care on the caregiver in the form of stress and burnout. Oregon Care Partners classes are free to attend and open to anyone living or working in Oregon. Register now to reserve your seat.
