Healthcare Provider Influenza Vaccination Tool Kit Available

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has a new resource to help health care workers stay up-to-date on important immunizations. Employers and health-care personnel (HCP) have a shared responsibility to prevent occupationally acquired infections, including the flu, and avoid causing harm to residents by taking reasonable precautions to prevent transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases.

OHA’s Healthcare Provider Influenza Vaccination Tool Kit can be found online. The tool kit is still in a draft status and could change. Toolkit resources include PowerPoint presentations, sample communications to families and staff, posters, and more.
