Caregiver talking with elderly woman

Join OHCA for the webinar “In-Home Care Important Topics: Regulatory and Legislative Impacts” on August 3 at 10am.

This in-home care-specific webinar will focus on some of today’s most important topics in the in-home care profession including the impending minimum wage increase and how it uniquely effects in-home care and everyday regulatory issues such as travel and sick time.

Gwen Dayton, OHCA’s general counsel, will review the impacts and considerations of the minimum wage law and will also discuss the BOLI administrative rules implementing the law, including how to apply the minimum wage when providers work in different geographic areas. In addition, the presenter will discuss how to apply travel and sick time regulations. We also will leave time for attendees to raise other difficult compliance issues for discussion and assistance.

If you would like more clarification on how these new regulations will affect your agency, then this webinar is for you!

Learn valuable information about the following issues:

  • Oregon’s new minimum wage law
