Fundamentals of Infection Prevention

The Oregon Patient Safety Commission (OPSC) is hosting the event “Fundamentals of Infection Prevention” October 30-November 1 at the OMEF event center in Portland.

This comprehensive training course is specifically designed for individuals who are responsible for their facility’s infection control program. The event is free for Oregon infection prevention or other healthcare professionals.

Concepts from this course will allow infection prevention professionals from any healthcare setting to develop an effective infection control program that both protects patients and complies with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Conditions for Coverage and Conditions of Participation.
