The Oregon Health Authority, Healthcare-Associated Infections Program, in collaboration with Comagine Health, continues to offer a professional development opportunity for designated infection control practitioners/specialists in long-term care settings. This was originally announced in the Provider Alert NF-22-051.

Advancing Infection Control Capacity & Education (ACE): Coaching to Certification, is an initiative designed to help long-term care infection control specialists ā€œACEā€ their certification in infection control (CICĀ®) and build capacity to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.

It’s not too late to sign up! Note that even if you do not have an infection control staff member ready to sit for the CICĀ® certification exam, the ACE Program provides free infection control memberships and resources to support broad infection control work in your facility. Review the ACE Program Flyer to learn more about coaching and resource support available to your team and to sign up for an upcoming study session.
